Ink By Design
Leader uses only pure chemicals in our solvent-based DOD
inks. We blend the appropriate solvents, dyes and resins
to produce an entire line of inks with the dry times and
adhering characteristics to meet the specific needs and
demands for the industry.
Throughout
the manufacturing process, Leader DOD fluids pass through
a number of filters to remove any sediment or impurities
in the ink. Overall, our inks are filtered nine times with
the final filter to three microns absolute.
Each
batch is then lab tested and coded to ensure that customers
receive their order to exact specifications. As an extra
measure of quality assurance, ink retains from every batch
are catalogued and stored for future testing.
Customers
who use our inks experience longer machine life, less downtime
and lower maintenance costs. The reason for this, as stated
above, are pure chemicals, filtration to three microns absolute,
and stringent quality control procedures to ensure consistent
ink batches.
Our
customers never experience sediment or dropout. Their printers
run cleaner and produce bolder, precise and more consistent
dot patterns when using our inks. In fact, Leader recommends
transferring any unused portion of ink left in the bottom
of our pails into the next pail being installed. Unlike
other products in the industry, Leader fluids are 100% usable.
